Help Us Secure a Permanent Home for ST. SAVA ACADEMY
We aim to raise $3.2 million to secure a permanent home for St. Sava Academy, covering the purchase and essential transition expenses. Achieving this goal will provide a stable, innovative environment for our students and ensure a lasting legacy in the community.
St. Sava Academy is raising funds to secure a permanent home by acquiring the St. Paul Lutheran Church and School property.
The $3.2 million target will cover the purchase price, laying the foundation for a state-of-the-art educational facility.
This investment will not only provide a stable, inspiring environment for our students but also strengthen community ties and ensure a lasting legacy for future generations.
The Academy provides instruction in either Serbian or Russian.
As a parochial school of the Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, we serve students from Pre‑Kindergarten through 8th grade, supporting academic excellence, cultural heritage, and spiritual development.

Enrollment at St. Sava Academy begins at the preschool level and continues through eighth grade, welcoming families into a close‑knit learning community. Our small class sizes create a supportive environment where each child receives personal attention and meaningful guidance. Led by a dedicated and experienced faculty, students benefit from strong academic instruction enriched with the traditions and values of an Orthodox upbringing.

Supporting St. Sava Academy through the Parent Network
The Parent Network represents all St. Sava Academy families to help strengthen and enrich our school community. Through volunteer‑led programs, events, and fundraisers, we support the Academy’s mission to provide a nurturing, high‑quality education rooted in our culture and Orthodox faith. Our family‑friendly gatherings create meaningful opportunities for parents, grandparents, and students to connect, celebrate, and grow together—while also raising essential funds that directly benefit our children.

St. Sava Academy Parent Network Bylaws Adopted
The Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the adoption of the Bylaws of the St. Sava Academy Parent Network. The Bylaws give our parent community a clear and lasting structure through which parents, faculty, staff, trustees, and clergy work together in support of our students and the Orthodox Christian mission of the Academy.
Every parent and guardian of a currently enrolled student is automatically a member of the Parent Network. There are no dues, and each household has a vote.
The Parent Network is led by an Executive Board of four elected officers (Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary/Communications Lead, and Treasurer) and Grade-Level Representatives for K–2, 3–5, and 6–8, with a Teacher Representative, School Liaison, and Clergy Liaison in an advisory role. Officers and Grade Representatives are elected each spring, and nominations are open to every parent.
The Parent Network meets at least four times a year, and all parents are welcome to attend, share feedback, and suggest initiatives. Its work centers on building community, coordinating volunteers for events like SerbFest, book fairs, field trips, and picnics, supporting fundraising approved by school leadership, and keeping families informed and connected.
Defined roles with defined responsibilities make it easier for any parent to see where they can contribute and to step forward with confidence. There is a place for you in this work.
