During the St. Sava Gala, we had the honor of sharing a heartfelt message from Her Royal Highness Princess Ljubica Karađorđević, whose words deeply resonated with our mission and values at St. Sava Academy. Her message beautifully captured why our work matters — not only for today, but for every generation to come.
Princess Ljubica reminded us that:
“Veza sa sopstvenim korenima je jedan od najvrednijih darova koje možemo dati svom potomstvu. Jedino ako znamo odakle smo došli, možemo znati kuda da idemo.”
“A connection to one’s roots is one of the greatest gifts we can give our children. Only when we know where we come from can we understand where we are going.”
In a world that is increasingly uncertain and fast-paced, she emphasized how vital it is to provide children with a strong foundation — a sense of identity, stability, and belonging. That grounding, she said, “has enormous value in today’s unstable world,” which is why St. Sava Academy plays such a meaningful role.
