Dear St. Sava Families,

As we enjoy our Christmas break, we wish all of our families a restful and joyful time—a chance to pause from the daily routine, spend time together, and enjoy the warmth of loved ones.

As we prepare for Božić and conclude our first semester, we also reflect on the meaningful Sundays in our Orthodox tradition—Detinjci, Materice, and Oci, each one reminding us of the love, gratitude, and generosity that bind our families together.

These beautiful traditions guide us into the spirit of giving: first inviting our children to show generosity, and then reminding us as parents to give with love, warmth, and the kind of kindness we hope to model for our children.

We are grateful for an Orthodox tradition that centers giving over receiving—especially during a season when the world often focuses on presents and “more.”

What a blessing it is to share traditions that call us back to gratitude, connection, and love within our families and our St. Sava community.

Please enjoy a few moments from our Christmas Party and the joyful visit from Sveti Nikola! 🎄✨

Saint Sava Academy, in partnership with @halofineartmedia , presents "Together We Grow."

The program centers on faith as a daily foundation that shapes character and heart.

Students are prepared to think globally and to speak more than one language: English, Serbian, and Russian. The curriculum blends rigorous academics with Singapore Math, SavvaCLA, music, art, physical education, and religion. Through art, music, and learning, curiosity becomes confidence and discipline becomes joy.

Each day includes fresh wholesome meals that nourish both body and spirit. The initiative promotes achievement, faith, and community where every child is known and inspired.

Faith, family, future. Together we grow.
